At the Turkmen State Medical University named after Myrat  Garryev, at the Department of  Hospital Surgery, a competition  was held in the discipline “Surgical Diseases” in which students of the 6^th year of the Faculty of  Medicine participated. Among them are 614, 615, 616 and 617^th  groups.

The  competition was held on April 20, 2022 in the meeting room of the Department of Liver Surgery of the  Medical Consultative Center named after S.Niyazov .

The discipline  competition consists of  2 stages :

• Stage I – from each group, two students  put sutures  with the help of surgical instruments.
• Stage II- Students  answered questions about the author s symptoms of acute surgical diseases of the abdominal cavity.

The students showed that they came well prepared. Assistants who held the competition and gave marks. Head of the Department  Chonanov N.G., Head teacher Muratova  M.D. Assistant of department  Nurlyev K.G Clinical  resident  Berdiev B.T.  The  competition was exciting and interesting.

Result of competition:

• Fist palce-Bekmyradova A.-614 group, Gudzhikova S.-616 group;
• Second place-  Saryeva G.-615 group, Goshdzhanova O-617 group;
