The Department of Organization and Tactics of the Medical Service was established in 2012. The duties of the head of the department were temporarily performed by O.K. Amedov (2012-2013), Ch.N. Nepesov (2013-2017), G. Ataev (2017-2019), A.G. Annadov (2019-2020) .). From March 2020 to the present, B.A. Mammedov has been performing the duties of the head of the department.

          

The department is located in the complex of buildings of the Myrat Garryev State Medical University of Turkmenistan on Gorogly street.

          

The department conducts classes with students of medical, pediatric, medical-preventive, dental faculties, the faculty of sports medicine on civil defense, organization and tactics of the medical service; with students of the Faculty of Pharmacy - on medical supplies; with students of the military medical faculty - on the organization and tactics of medical service, medical supplies, military policy and law, combined-arms logistics training.

          

The staff of the department prepared textbooks on the organization and tactics of the medical service, combined-arms logistics training, 209 teaching aids, published 19 scientific articles and 12 theses.

          

Scientific research and rationalization work with students at the department is carried out in specially organized circles.
