Primary Youth Organization of Myrata Garryeva State Medical University of Turkmenistan is a bearer of the state youth policy at the higher medical establishment  and since 1991it  has been carrying out its activity in accordance with the Constitution of Turkmenistan, legislation of Turkmenistan , the Charter and Programme of the Magtymguly Youth Organisation of Turkmenistan.

The main tasks of the organization are:

- active involvement of young people in managing the affairs of the society and state;

- assistance in strengthening the family, the authority of youth in the society;

- interaction with other public organizations in the propaganda of a healthy lifestyle;

- organization of seminars, festivals, exhibitions, scientific and practical conferences, competitions, meetings with prominent public figures, figures of science, culture and sports with the participation of students;

- carrying out charitable and humanitarian activities, rendering comprehensive assistance to needy families.

At the general meeting held at the beginning of the academic year, a working plan is developed for organizing and holding events related to cultivate in young people love of and devotion to the Motherland, people and the President of Turkmenistan, his wise policy to ensure a peaceful and happy life of the population of the country; creative evenings and meetings with honored artists, as well as with elderly respected people on the topic of morality, morals, honor and dignity.

One of the most important directions of work of the primary organization is the civic and patriotic education of young people, therefore, events called "Turkmenistan - Homeland of Neutrality", "Happy youth of the Independent Motherland", "Blessed Turkmen sachak", "The best heritage is education" are annually held.

The cultural-mass direction of the work of the primary organization of the university is to hold mobile exhibitions of the State Cultural Centre of Turkmenistan and the Museum of Fine Arts of Turkmenistan in the territory of the university; meetings called “A girl is famous for her morality, a boy for  his upbringing” dedicated to the propaganda of national traditions, respect for family values; creative evenings “Family is the main support, health is the main wealth”, “Fundamentals of the principles of a healthy lifestyle” organized jointly with the National Society of the Red Crescent of Turkmenistan; beauty contests among female students dedicated to the International Women's Day on March 8.

 

   

 

     

 

Sports events "A healthy mind in a healthy body" help to cultivate a healthy lifestyle among young people, which allows involving young girls and boys of the university into physical education and sports, health improvement and tourism.

One of the actual forms of work of the Primary Youth Organization of the university is the participation of medical students in the annual competitions "Student of the Year", "Youth Cup", "Young Scientists" held by the Ministry of Education of Turkmenistan and the Youth Organisation of the country among the students of the higher educational institutions.
