Stomatological faculty of State Medical university of Turkmenistan named after Myrat Garryyev was found in 1964. At present dean of the faculty is assistant of Therapeutic Stomatology department Babayev Orazgeldi and in staff of the faculty was found the department of stomatology. With the aim of teaching of special discipline in the staff of department was organized docent studying on therapeutic stomatology.

4 departments concern to stomatological faculty:

 

 - Children’s dentistry department;

 - Medical and biological physics department;

 - Orthopedic and surgeon stomatology department;

 - Therapeutic stomatology department.

 

Period of studying – 5 years. Type of studying – internal (paid and budget). In 1977 was found separately these departments, concern to stomatological faculty: therapeutic stomatology department and orthopedic and surgeon stomatology department. According to law, adopted by our Esteemed President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov on the 11 of July in 2013 in stuff of State Medical university of Turkmenistan named after Myrat Garryyev was found Dental Training and Production Center, situated on Atamurat Niyazov avenue (2038, house 203), resulting in clinical stuff of medical university expanded. At present time work is underway to introduce in the Dental Training and Production Center a modern, innovative, diagnostic, treatment and preventive equipment that meets international standards.

 

Employees of the department have published more than 400 scientific papers, 6 monographs and 20 teaching aids for practitioners. Employees of the orthopedic and surgeon stomatology department have prepared more than 300 scientific papers, with which speak at the conferences and forums. In the framework of department holds student scientific research work on high level stage. Students participate with papers of scientific work at conferences of our university, as well as in other high schools, where take a prize place. In stomatological department of treatment and consultation center named after S.A.Niyazov situated surgical stomatology department of orthopedic and surgeon stomatology department of State Medical university of Turkmenistan named after Myrat Garryyev, where works teachers – mentors. There studies students of stomatological, medical, pediatrician and medico-prophylactic faculty, as well as family doctors – interns and stomatology doctors, whose study important problems of stomatology and surgical stomatology. Clinic of surgical stomatology is educational, medical and methodical center of Turkmenistan. 

There carry out high quality works on treatment of patient with tumor diseases, as well as diseases of maxillofacial system, injury, non-cancerous and cancerous growth, birth and acquired defects, deformations. Besides, in Stomatological Center of Ministry of healthcare and medical industry of Turkmenistan conducts lessons on raising the level of doctors of stomatological faculty on therapeutic, surgeon and orthopedic descriptions. Dental Training and Production Center is single center, which render free medical assistant to children and invalid on high level stage.

 

 

Important role is not only beauty of children s teeth, but receiving and assimilation by organism food. Dental Training and Production Center introduce to practice advanced methods innovative technologies on prophylaxis and treatment of oral cavity diseases. Thus, basic aim is lowering activity and degree complication of stomatological diseases among children and teenagers.
