Students of Medical University are participating in the vocational practice in the People’s Republic of China
From July 14 to 28, 2025, students from Myrat Garryyew State Medical University of Turkmenistan are participating in the vocational practice, held at Beijing University of Chinese Medicine in the People’s Republic of China.
This opportunity became possible as a result of the active Cooperation Agreement between the two universities, signed to strengthen international academic collaboration. The agreement provides for joint educational programs, scientific research, and student exchange.
The summer vocational training program includes lectures by leading professors, practical classes in acupuncture, tuina, and phytotherapy, as well as internships in the clinics of Beijing University of Chinese Medicine. In addition, cultural events are organized to introduce participants to the traditions and history of Chinese medicine.
The participation of Turkmen students in such a program is a vivid example of how international cooperation opens new opportunities for future physicians. This is an important step towards preparing highly qualified specialists capable of combining modern and traditional medical practices.
