Working visit of the delegation of Turkmenistan to Kazakhstan
On April 14-15, 2025, the delegation of Turkmenistan, consisting of heads of UNESCO departments and clubs, as well as a representative of the Secretariat of the National Commission for UNESCO, visited Almaty on a working visit. The purpose of the trip was to study the experience of the UNESCO departments of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the National Federation of Clubs of Kazakhstan.
On the first day of the visit, the delegation got acquainted with the UNESCO clubs "Talleyrand" at the School of Art and Design named after A. Kasteyev and the Faculty of International Relations of the Kazakh National University named after Al-Farabi. The prospects for bilateral cooperation were discussed.
On April 15, a meeting was held with the heads of Kazakhstan's UNESCO departments, at which the parties exchanged experiences and discussed areas for further cooperation. The delegation also visited the Secretariat of the National Federation of Clubs of the Republic of Kazakhstan, where joint projects were proposed. The Turkmen side presented its activities of UNESCO clubs, which aroused the interest of Kazakhstani colleagues.
The visit was an important step in strengthening educational and cultural ties between the two countries.
