On February 21, 2025, the next meeting of the Technical Committee of the Central Asia Drug Action Programme (CADAP) was held in Ashgabat. Representatives of the European Union and the Government of Turkmenistan attended the event.

A lecturer from the Myrat Garryyev State Medical University of Turkmenistan also participated in the meeting. The discussions focused on strengthening international cooperation, preventing substance use, and promoting evidence-based approaches to tackling drug addiction.
