On December 9, 2024, a ceremonial conference dedicated to the International Day of Neutrality and the first anniversary of the establishment of the UNESCO Club "Medicinal Plants – Our Health, Our Heritage" was held at the Myrat Garryyev State Medical University of Turkmenistan.

The event was attended by the executive secretary of the National Commission of Turkmenistan for UNESCO, Hero of Turkmenistan Chinar Rustemova, leaders and active members of UNESCO clubs and departments operating in the country, as well as the faculty and students of the university.

The conference began with a literary and musical composition prepared by university students. The performance entitled "Dürli-dümen otuň biter, her deräň bir ile ýeter..." was based on the works of Makhtumkuli Fragi, glorifying nature and the world around us.

During the event, active members of the UNESCO Club were awarded Certificates of Honor. In their speeches, the participants noted the efforts of Hero Arkadag and the President of Turkmenistan aimed at studying the national cultural heritage and the wealth of medicinal plants that have a healing effect on human health. The importance of educating young people in the spirit of harmony and health, as well as the historical significance of the UNESCO Club "Medicinal Plants – Our Health, Our Heritage" were emphasized. At the end of the program, the musical group of the Melhem University performed for the guests, presenting bright musical numbers to the participants.
