On December 7, 2024, the scientific and practical conference "Bitaraplyk türkmeniň ynsanperwerliginiň, ruhubelentliginiň pelsepesidir we paýhas gudratydyr" was held at the Myrat Garryyev State Medical University of Turkmenistan, timed to coincide with the 29th anniversary of Turkmenistan's Neutrality.

In the speeches of the participants, it was emphasized that Turkmenistan is the only state whose neutral status has been twice recognized by the United Nations. Neutrality was called the most important achievement of the foreign policy of Independent Turkmenistan. Particular attention was paid to the successes in the fields of education, science and health care achieved during the years of neutrality.
