On December 2, 2024, an open Internet Olympiad among higher education institutions on the subject of "Ecology and Environmental Protection" was held at the Myrat Garryyev State Medical University of Turkmenistan. The event was timed to coincide with the Day of Neutrality of Turkmenistan and organized within the framework of the implementation of the Action Plan for the implementation of the "Concept for the Development of the Digital Educational System and its Implementation Plan" as well as the "Concept for Improving the Teaching of Natural and Exact Sciences" of the President of Turkmenistan. Students from 24 higher education institutions of the country took part in the Olympiad.

Following the results of the Olympiad, the jury determined the winners, who were awarded with diplomas of the 1st, 2nd and 3rd degrees.

As a result of the competition, held in accordance with international standards, 35 students were declared winners. Of these, 8 took 1st place, 13 took 2nd place and 14 took 3rd place.
