On November 29, 2024, the III International Chemistry Olympiad among Students of higher Educational Institutions, which lasted three days, ended at the Makhtumkuli Turkmen State University.

The Olympiad was attended by students from 21 higher educational institutions of Turkmenistan, including talented representatives of the Myrat Garryyev State Medical University of Turkmenistan, as well as representatives of 23 universities from 10 countries: the Russian Federation, the People's Republic of China, Romania, the Islamic Republic of Iran, the Republic of Belarus, the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Republic of Armenia, the Republic of Tajikistan, the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Republic of Uzbekistan. A total of 220 students took part in the Olympiad. The Olympiad was held in two categories of difficulty: A and B.

The winners of the Olympiad were solemnly awarded diplomas and medals.

The team of the Myrat Garryyev State Medical University of Turkmenistan took the 3rd place in category B.
