In autumn of 2020, students of Myrat Garryev State Medical University of Turkmenistan took part in the scientific competition "Professional stars - 2020", organized in Moscow by the International Center for Scientific- Research projects of the Russian Federation. A group of students of our university took the second place in the profile of "medical sciences" among the 429 higher and secondary professional educational institutions (schools) from eleven countries participating in the competition. The scientific article "Working of technology for obtaining tincture of harmala (peganum harmala) and determination of its antimicrobial properties", prepared by students under the guidance of the head of the Department of Pharmacy, candidate of chemical sciences I. Kurbanov, was awarded special diplomas.
