On October 29, 2024, in honor of Ayurveda Day, a meeting of university leaders, teachers and students with Ambassador of India to Turkmenistan Mrs. Madhumita Hazarika Bhagat was organized at the Myrat Garryyev State Medical University of Turkmenistan. During the meeting, the importance of teaching the subjects "Fundamentals of Ayurveda" and "Ayurvedic Therapy", with the participation of Indian specialists, as well as prospects for bilateral mutually beneficial cooperation were discussed. With the participation of the ambassador and the heads of the university, seedlings were planted on the territory of the University as a symbol of mutual respect and environmental protection.
