On the 4th of October 2024 at the VI International Educational Forum “ALTAI-ASIA 2024”: “Eurasian Educational Space - New Challenges and Best Practices”, held in the city of Belokurikha, Altai region of the Russian Federation, the VI Congress of the Association of Asian Universities was held, where Myrat Garryyev State Medical University of Turkmenistan was officially elected as a new member of the Association of Asian Universities. President of the Association Rustam Ibrahimovich Khalmuradov noted that Myrat Garryyev State Medical University of Turkmenistan is the first university of Turkmenistan, which became a member of the Association. 

The certificate membership in the Association was handed over to the delegation of Myrat Garryyev State Medical University of Turkmenistan in a solemn atmosphere.
