In the era of Renaissance of a new era of a powerful state, in order to realise the requirements of the ‘Concept of Improvement of Teaching of Natural and Exact Sciences in Turkmenistan’ and ‘Concept of Development of Digital Education System’, further increasing the aspiration of the younger generation to master the acquired knowledge, On 18 September 2024, on the occasion of the 33rd anniversary of our independence, the results of the state round of the Biology Olympiad, which was held among senior pupils of general education schools in the country, were summed up on the occasion of the 33rd anniversary of our independence in the year of ‘Makhtumkuli Fraghi's Treasure Trove of Mind’.

Along with the competition, such events as acquaintance with the university, acquaintance with the sights of our capital city, as well as awarding ceremony were organised.

According to the results of the Olympiad, the best results were shown by Jumadurdyeva Aysona, a 12th grade pupil of the 40th secondary school of Yoloten district (1st place), Atageldiev Kerimberdi, a 12th grade pupil of the English language, chemistry and biology specialised secondary school №86 of Ashgabat, Ballyeva Gulnar, a 12th grade pupil of the Saparmyrat Turkmenbashi Specialised General Education School of Ashgabat (2nd place), Babayeva Maisa, 11th grade pupil of the 26th English language, chemistry and biology specialised secondary school in Dashoguz, Mergenov Umyt, 11th grade pupil of 29th foreign languages specialised secondary school of Dashoguz city of Dashoguz province, and Babayeva Mahriban, 11th grade pupil of the English language, chemistry and biology specialised secondary school №86 of Ashgabat (3rd place).
