The Trainee Teacher of the Department of hospital therapy with a course of clinical pharmacology and endocrinology of our university recently participated in the 34th annual scientific-practical conference of the Society for Light Therapy and Biological Rhythms (SLTBR) held in Switzerland. At this conference, with the participation of scientists and doctors from more than 30 countries, speeches were held on the influence of artificial light and sunlight on the human body, the chronobiological features of diseases and the importance of chronotherapy in their treatment. Yklym Bolmammedov presented his scientific work "The effect of melatonin in treatment of nocturnal hypertension according to circadian rhythm of patients" under the guidance of director of that department Associate Professor A. Allaberdiyev and T. Hojageldiyev Professor of the Department of Pharmacology. Scientific papers presented at the conference will be published in Clocks&Sleep, a journal indexed by Scopus and PubMed.
