On February 2022 the solemn conference dedicated to the inclusion of the skill of making a dutar, the art of performing on it and the art of bakhshi in the UNESCO List of Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity was held at the Myrat Garryev State Medical University of Turkmenistan. The music and songs performed by the folk instrumental ensemble “Melhem” added the atmosphere of conviviality to the event.
