Study-scientific center of maternity and child health of Myrat Garryyev State Medical university of Turkmenistan

 

 

Study- scientific center of  the maternity  and child healthcare was created  by the decree of Esteemed President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov from July, 12th, 2015 №14334 «About creation of medical institutions» on August, 1st, 2015.

The work in this center is conducted in three directions: pediatrics, perinatology and surgery. The center is calculated on 275 cots and it is functioned 15 departments. In the center the highly skilled help is carried out to mothers and children, come from different corners of the country.

According to the program of regions perinatology aid in the country the center has been designated by level III А. The aid to newborns  with low weight and with various grave conditions is conducted in the center. Medical work is carried out according to the research program of the center. It promotes rendering of the qualified aid to sick children and decrease in children's disease and death rate.

The basic direction of scientific activity of Study – scientific Center of the maternity and child healthcare of the Myrat Garryyev State Medical University of Turkmenistan «Improvement of quality of conducting and adaptable mechanisms of children with low weight at birth».

The center created by the decision of the Esteemed President of Turkmenistan, spends vast work on training of highly skilled experts of scientific and practical direction.

On the departments located in territory of the center goes intensive theoretical and practical training of the students of university and medical school, doctors of interns, clinical interns and experts of various profile.

For rendering assistance perfection to pregnant women and newborn children stu­dents, doctors interns and young experts fulfill practical skills in audience specially equipped with modern simulators (phantom room).

Centre work is conducted according to the National programs, adopted in Turkmenis­tan which are directed on the maternity and child healthcare: «Safe motherhood», «Primary resuscitation of newborns», «Encouragement and support of nursing», «the Integrated conducting  diseases of children's age», «Early development of the child and preparation for school». Advisory work and rehabilitation actions are conducted with parents of children, born with low weight in the office of «Early development of the child and early intervention».

The staff of the departments and leading experts of the center carry out consultations with participants of the young doctors and students by means of telemedicine with the patients of  heavy and difficult medical cases from all corners of the country.
